The village of Castrillo de Murcia (Burgos) held its traditional Baby-Jumping Festival at the weekend as part of its Corpus Christi celebrations.Since the 17th century, on the Sunday of Corpus Christi, "El Colacho," a personification of diabolical evil, has been jumping over babies born in the village during the previous twelve months thus cleansing their souls of evil.
